I find myself in another seedy bar. How do I end up in these places? The strikes started today. From the looks of things this might be the last bar I go into for a while. The war is catching up to me and I don’t feel like running. It’d be stupid to run. The table I’m at has some grimy film on it. How do I end up in these places? I sit my glass down. It’s empty. It doesn’t make that usual clink you’d expect from a glass on a table; it’s more of a muffled thud because of the grime. I stand up and grab my coat off of the ragged fabric of the booth. I make my way out of the empty bar and into the streets. It sounds August 15th, 1944

I open my eyes. One of them only opens half way, probably still swollen from the beating I just took. I can hear the slap of jack boots outside the alley. The sound salts my ears like someone clapping too close. Shouldn’t have had all that bourbon. I should quit drinking. No sign left of the guys who had it in their heads that that saucy little dancer was their company and not mine. Should have kept my damn mouth shut. I can’t help but let the thoughts creep back into my head. Fuck ups like these are what get people in my position killed. Where did those jack boots go? I let some blood trickle down from my mouth August 12th, 1944

Got teh Player's Handbook.

Well, I finally got the Dungeons and Dragons Player's Handbook v3.5

So suck that down. Also, I took some pictures with my Pinky st. in hopes of making some sweet shots, but apparently, my utter lack of photographic skill means that none of them came out well in the slightest. However, I will post a few of them, if they are deemed worth posting.

On another note, if anyone knows about any manner of D&D games that happen to be going on in and around Champaign, Illinois feel free to drop me a note or something... oh, provided the game does not included a doddering old sociopath named Tim Heath.
